We are looking for a Finance Manager and Controller reporting to the CFO based in Madrid. 

At this role, you will find the following challenges:

  • Monitor and control of the financial statements.

  • Review and consolidate financial Reporting, ensuring that all Group reporting requirements are met in the most efficient, accurate and timely manner.

  • Supervise and participate in Cash Flow and Collections Management activities.

  • Working closely with international subsidiaries, external accountants and other departments across the organization.

  • Budget control and financial monitoring of projects.

  • Develop and analyze dashboards and KPIs (monthly/quarterly reviews).

  • Provide technical advice and answers to any accounting / reporting / admin / finance questions from investors or team.

  • Ensure that VAT and other tax declarations are prepared and filled in a timely fashion.

  • Financial planning.

  • Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants.

  • Supervise the transfer pricing policy of the Company.

What are we looking for?:

  • Bachelor’s degree related to Economy or Business Administration.

  • Master in Finance or MBA will be a plus.

  • High level of English (C1 or Advance certifications).

  • Minimum 3 years working as a Finance Consultant. Being used to work in companies related to innovation and technologies will be a plus.

  • Experience in financial management and planning in multinational environments, with presence in Latin America will be a plus.

  • Experience in working to tight reporting and budgeting schedules.

  • Experience in Consolidation is a must.

  • Fundamental understanding of the dynamics of cash management, margin management, working capital management and ROCE is essential.

  • Strong personal presence with good leadership and excellent interpersonal skills to manage Europe’s finance team, and very importantly, with the stature to quickly command the confidence and respect of the management team and to work cohesively with the senior management team across the group.

  • Passion and commitment with high personal integrity and a practical, pragmatic and hardworking approach and with the flexibility and energy required for the role.

  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations will be a plus.

  • Analytic skills and able to work as a team.

  • Advanced user of Office, Jira and Navision.
